The treatment of low back pain, neck pain, and other conditions also includes the use of electrical stimulation, ultrasound, ice, and heat to help reduce pain and muscle spasm, as well as the prescription of proper flexibility, strengthening and cardiovascular exercise. In addition, advice on proper posture and ergonomics is provided to help restore function, thus allowing the patient to regain or continue with all of their daily activities.
Chiropractic care helps to relieve many conditions associated with spinal alignment, spinal nerves, joints of the arms and legs, and many others. Our licensed chiropractors utilize many forms of treatment to meet the needs of each patient, such as Trigger Point therapy, joint mobilizations, Activator methods, custom orthotics, and modalities, as well as Active Release Technique, Acupuncture and Graston Technique.
The primary form of treatment in chiropractic care is the ADJUSTMENT (manipulation), which is a fast, short, highly specific, and controlled thrust directed at the joint, with the purpose of restoring joint motion and relieving pain. The use of this form of treatment distinguishes chiropractors from other health care professionals. Chiropractic adjustments have been proven to be a safe and effective form of therapy.
