Orillia Sportsmedicine were honored to sponsor the recent House League Championship Day, organized by Orillia Minor Hockey to give back to the community that has always been the backbone of our practice. The House League Championship Day organized by Orillia Minor Hockey was a community-centric event aimed at celebrating youth hockey while supporting local charities through significant fundraising and food donations.

The event was a tremendous success, raising over $5000 and over 1900 lbs of food for The Sharing Place Food Centre and the Mike Dodd Foundation. This event not only provided essential resources for House League Championship Day but also helped make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need within our community. The funds raised will directly benefit The Sharing Place Food Centre, enabling them to continue their invaluable work in providing nutritious meals and vital support services to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Additionally, it will support the Mike Dodd Foundation in their mission to provide financial assistance and resources to youth sports programs, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to participate in organized sports regardless of financial barriers.
